By definition, an alloy is a metal made by combining two or more metallic elements, especially to give greater strength or resistance to corrosion. 

Like it's name sake, the Alloy System connects and adapts LGT/Nexus Variable Hilt Component and TXQ Modular saber components together into a unified system to capitalize on the strengths of both!  These Female/Female Body Segments allow saber smiths to lay the foundation for a saber's main body while realizing the 'found parts' legacy of saber smithing.
