Accent Ring - Type_1

Introducing a new accessory product from Corvus Saber Foundry, compatible with LGT, Nexus or Damiensaber - Variable Hilt Component (VHC) sabers.  Designed to be highly versatile and robust, this accent ring enhances the profile and unique feel of your saber.

Crafted to fit saber hilts with an outer diameter of 33mm, these 6061-T6 Aluminum rings are designed for quick installation between your hilt pieces to give your saber more dimensionality and more drama.  The raw finishes leave the surface treatment, coloration, and weathering up to you!

Utilizing a 'shimsert' concept, these parts slip over the thread major diameter of all VHC parts seating on the friction area between connecting parts, just like a timing shim.  The offset orientation of the inner 'shimsert' gives you two looks in one part with just a flip.  To install, simply unthread your parts, slip the ring over the male thread saber part in the preferred orientation, re-thread the parts and tighten.  They even work with conventional timing shims! 

Please note that this ring was designed to be compatible with a majority of VHC parts consistent with a diameter of 33mm.  If your saber has significant changes in outer diameter in the area you wish to mount a ring, this part may fit, but may not perform satisfactorily or visually.  Please measure the outer diameter of your saber to verify fit.

This item compliments and expands the options of the LGT, Nexus, and Damiensabers - Variable Hilt Component system sabers, giving saber enthusiasts more customization options for a more complete sabering experience.  While designed for compatibility with LGT and Nexus sabers, preliminary testing has shown these rings may fit other manufacturers with an outside diameter of 33mm.  Some modification to the shimsert may be required to fit.
