Product Information

Manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminum, this Alloy Accent Ring Kit features one of our coolest design elements in an Accent Ring yet, a simple contoured mounting surface to fit our contoured Covertec Wheels. This new kit was designed to provide saber smiths with a Covertec mounting option that ISN'T just drilling and tapping your lightsaber. Like all of our Accent Rings, this part fits between major assemblies on your saber, accentuating the areas between major components, enhancing saber profile and creating a mounting surface for a contoured Covertec wheel attached using an M4 screw. It's capable of supporting any contoured Covertec that fits 33mm Outer diameter lightsabers and sports a design matching it's sister ring, the Accent Ring Type_2.1.

The raised profile functionally enhances saber handling by providing users a convenient index or finger positioning register, while the Covertec mount gives you every day carry positioning freedom. The inner diameter exhibits our innovative 'shimsert' mounting solution which utilizes an offset inner lip that slips over the joining threads and acts as a shim, securing the Accent Ring between connecting hilt sections. This eliminates the need for threading or other fasteners, simplifying installation and providing a clean nested parts aesthetic. The offset design provides the user two looks in one part with a flip! The raw finish allows for user customization through etching, weathering or other surface treatments.

Alloy components are designed to interface with known form factors, dimensions, as well as meet or exceed material strength of LGT/Nexus/Damiensaber VHC and TXQ Modular systems. Specifically, Alloy components are manufactured from a higher strength aluminum alloy which provides enhanced durability and strength. Integration and use with other Corvus Saber Foundry Alloy components and other similarly compatible third-party parts is supported and encouraged!
